Unit histories

Not much happening here on the painting front as all the Hinton Hunt’s, brushes, paints etc are packed away in preparation for an imminent move north of the border.

Meanwhile though, I have taken the opportunity of a spare couple of hours to update the unit histories pages on the blog. I’ve added an entry for each of my infantry units and updated those I’d already done to include their exploits at Vintage Leipzig (my two most recent unit additions are not listed as they have yet to see any action).

Yes! Might just have to 'borrow' this approach. Well done!

Best Regards,

Hi Stokes - it's been fun to do this and interesting to see that some units have had been in a tight spot on several occasions whilst others have barely had a scratch!

Yet another brilliant idea! You have no end of these.
Best of luck with the move. WM

Hi Matt - it's also a good way for me to keep track of what I've got and what figures I used because at my age it's very easy to forget!

Sometimes it's no bad thing to forget..... I trust you'll record that those Nassau grenadiers are artillery proof? Has the great migration north happened? If so, I hope it went well.

The move had passed me by. Where are you going?

I'm impressed you can remember when they all got mustered. Do you keep a painting diary?

Hello Ian, Where are you moving to?

Stuart - running the blog is a big help to my ageing memory but I also keep a notebook that lists the colours I use for each type.
