A few more additions to the Russian OOB. The figures are all courtesy of Don refurbished and given the glossy treatment.

| These gunners are almost certainly DK but are in identical poses to the Hinton ones. Nice to have the gunner with ammunition bag and gunner with cannonball that I previously lacked. The guns are very nice little models from RSM. |
 |
| These generals were more of a repaint than a restoration. I love this pose which is just as well as I now have 4 Russian generals with telescope. |
 |
| This chap is actually a paint conversion of the Austrian general. With so many telescopes and a map the Russian general staff will be very well informed. |
 |
| You will have spotted that the ADC on the left is actually a Prussian general sporting a green coat. |
Next up will be more infantry.

Surely that's not enough guns? They're Russians, they need lots of guns, bigger guns, and then some more again. Maybe they don't have enough guns yet, but the uniforms make up for it - it's a really attractive shade of green.
Kutuzov is looking slim these days? I think a head swap with a cap like that worn by the Prussian posing as Russian onto a Ney figure with greatcoat over his shoulders would make make an excellent Kutuzov.
This is how I always picture him: https://c8.alamy.com/compde/jf90h7/mikhail-kutuzov-russisch-field-marshall-unter-der-romanows-kennzahl-in-den-napoleonischen-kriegen-von-1805-1812-militarischer-kommandant-in-der-schlacht-von-borodino-illustration-von-na-pavlov-jf90h7.jpg
Rob, I do have another couple of guns already but I agree they could do with more. You're right about Kutuzov of course!
I like the fellow holding the powder bag, never seen an gunner cast like that before. Also very fond of that church in the background.
Hopefully the Russians are holding their telescopes the right way around. :)
Thanks Mad P, the church is an old ‘Superquick’ cardboard kit for model railways - the windows are a nice touch I think!
More shiny green to add to the collection. The Ruskies are coming on quite nicely I think.
Thanks Matt, the emperor will be keen to see they don’t come too close!
Nice figures. Russians have a different feel than other European armies; quite refreshing.
Thanks Rob, I have always been fascinated by the Napoleonic era Russian army so I’m pleased to finally have one!
I love all of those telescopes. There must be something in the water affecting the Russian's eyes, that they should need so much magnification! I recently cut away one of those telescopes on a Spanish Colonel made from a Russian General, and replaced it with a cigarillo. Of course the resulting facial scar was a challenge to address, but hopefully won't require the addition of an eye patch!
An eye patch is no problem for Kutuzov David!
Indeed! :)
Love the officer's face. "why am I here?" Possibly a pal of Pierre Bezuchov....
Possibly Nigel but let’s hope he isn’t planning to assassinate the emperor!
