The unit is mainly comprised of PN.4 Private (firing).
The command figures are PN.1 Officer (charging) and PN.7 Officer (marching).
Also included are PN.6 Drummer (charging) and PN.5 Private (the figure cast with seperate musket that I have converted to a flag-bearer).
This is how they would have looked back in 1972 if only I'd had a camera.
This is my fourth unit of Prussians after the Silesian Landwehr, Jagers and Foot Artillery battery and takes me a little further towards recreating my 1970s Hinton Hunt Prussian forces.

A very nice unit, would be good to see all the Prussians together.
How is the Prussian cavalry coming on?
Paul
Hi Paul
Yes it would be nice to see them all - I'll try!
The Prussian Dragoons are next!
Cheers
Ian
Well done on Your Prussians Ian- - they look fantastic! -enjoying Your Hinton Postings. Regards. KEV.
Cheers Kev!
Congratulations, Ian. A fine looking unit of steady looking soldiers ready to stand up to the Monster. Well worth the wait. But was there really no grass back in the 70s?
Lovely work on these Prussians!
Archduke - there was definitely no grass back in the 70s, just my parents dining table or (later) my plain unpainted chipboard wargame table. To make up for it we had other things like flared trousers and Donny Osmond...
Phil - thanks for the comment!
Great looking figures - Blucher now has some real backbone to his army. Will there be more infantry?
very nice. Hopefully we. will be seeing a reserve infantry unit? They were the ones Hinton missed out, though he did do the regulars and the landwehr. You can get reserve inf with Portugese figures and one or two regts. used a grey version of the regular black/blue.
Roy
Matt - yes there will be some ordinary line inf plus some guard grenadiers!
Roy - I do have some Clayton Portuguese so who knows?

A good site for Prussian stuff with pics of grey uniformed reserve regt uniforms and nice tactical info.
Roy
This may be heresy, but SHQ make what I think are rather good Prussian reserve infantry. Please don't ban me from the blog, though. I'll get out my flares if it helps.
Archduke - no ban necessary but perhaps you could go on a 're-education programme'?

Just glove that look!

The grey lightens up a Prussian force!
Roy
Perhaps I should do that. Where do SHQ stand in the Clayton, DK, Alberken spectrum of undesirability?
To be fair I'm not really familiar with SHQ but as I imagine they are original works they would have to fall in in line behind the others!
