The War of Words

Both sides have been cranking up their propaganda machines as the French make a landing at Bournemouth.

  1. Napoleon was pretty good at managing his image. Just sayin'...

  3. French promises are pie-crust promises - easily made, easily broken - and Bonaparte will find the steady Briton is less easily gulled than your febrile Frenchie.

While some will will read nothing into the fact that 'Equality' has slipped down the running order in the Tyrant's 'offer', others will recall 'Napoleon' saying that "some ... are more equal than others". Oink, Oink!

  4. Rob, we'll see how things pan out at the Battle of Salisbury!

(Yes, the 'Equality' thing was never going to work with the Brits)

  5. I would have said the French flyer is nothing but a diatribe of rubbish BUT I should point out it could be "Napoleon's Truth" and therefore I cannot in these enlightened times.

Unless I wanted to be trolled and burnt out of my house of course.

    #napoleons truth-even if it's baloney.
