59th Jordis Regiment – Completed

Here they are, resplendent in white – the 59th Jordis Regiment ready to follow General Mack (if only he could learn to read that map).

The figures I used are:

20 x AN.7 Musketeer, marching
1 x AN.1 Officer, charging
1 x AN.26 Officer, marching (DK)
1 x AN.2 Drummer (DK)
1 x AN.4 Standard Bearer (Clayton

I’ll be staying on an Austrian theme for the next unit.

  1. A Jordis regiment eh, they'll all be saying whey aye man deek at them gadgies ower there and stuff like that.
Good work though, the white uniforms really stand out.
    Regards,
    Paul.

  2. They're beautiful! They look so nice I'd be tempted to make them a super-large unit with another 4 strips, after all Austrian units were large and they wouldn't be that powerful under M&M.

  3. Paul, no doubt their marching song will be "Fog on the Danube"!

  4. Very very smart looking fellows. I take it the Newcastle Brown is inside the backpacks?

  5. Rob, I couldn't face painting any more due to snow blindness!

  6. Matt, best place for it if we are to fight the French!

  7. Those are just glorious, and unlike me, you have even painted the model of the windmill in the background!

  9. David, every Napoleonic game needs a windmill!

  10. WM, crisp is the right word, they will certainly be visible on the table top!

  11. Just thrilled you have found the faith...as for your favorite Austrian general, just send him off to find out what "gadgies" are and leave these fine fellows to follow General Klenau. I really feel deep respect for that Fahne, Ian. Don't even breathe that I should follow your example. Now, where did I leave my snow goggles....

  12. A lovely looking unit and a fine piece of painting Ian.
They should be a magnificent sight/target on the battlefield.

    All the best. Aly

  13. Nigel, glad you approve but I could never do that to poor old Mack - he will remain in command!

  18. Honestly you lot, you can tell they are not actual Geordies because they would be wearing T shirts.

    Lovely job!
