Look forward to seeing them painted. I recall one of the very first wargames I went to watch whilst at school featured one side consisting of Airfix figures painted totally gloss black, save for pink faces and hands! I was told they were Brunswick troops :-) I'm sure yours will turn out great.

Cheers,

Lee.Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13181989906410822069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6875985959507775409.post-57072817931757275262010-10-16T19:50:57.159+01:002010-10-16T19:50:57.159+01:00Hi Stryker

Looking forward to the finished product...

For a a very dark grey can I recommend Vallejo Gris Negro (Model Color no 862)?? My thinking is that I will probably have to go lighter than is realistic in order to provide some contrast when viewed from 3 feet away!Strykerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14258922461691204362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6875985959507775409.post-54132187970699652502010-10-15T19:25:25.251+01:002010-10-15T19:25:25.251+01:00Very eager to see how you approach (re-)painting t...Very eager to see how you approach (re-)painting these. While I have a bunch of 15mm MiniFig Brunswickers in the unpainted leadpile (for 20+ years), I've always avoided painting them because rendering black uniforms effectively has always proved elusive.

Best Regards,

StokesWSTKS-FM Worldwidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14173042438761572040noreply@blogger.com
